I originally developed a method for making Celtic-knotwork style art when asked to do some for a book cover design. The green section in the first thumnail is the first knotwork design I did, and, needless to say, I got a little carried away. I have since been banned from doing knotwork designs on my laptop during group activities at a friend's house, as she's been known to drift off mid-sentance watching my screen.

The design in the center of the first two designs is a Celtic Rose, a common knotwork pattern.

The second design is an alternate version of the first, created as a decorative piece for a Yahoo Group.

The third pattern shown here is one of my original designs, and one I've often considered having made as a wire-bend-jewelry style mask.
